25. Kaunertal Opening mit Matthias Vogt

This weekend the 25.th kaunertal opening took place. Ahead of the event they had less snow, a lot of ice, warm temperatures and sunny weather. But they managed to build a nice mini shred Park and a two row Kickerline. I went there on friday evening and the weather forecast for the weekend was very bad. Luckily they were wrong and the view wasn't that bad on saturday. But conditions were still icy.

On saturday I joined the male pro snowboard competition. The contest includes a mini shred park where best run one out of three counts and a kicker part with two runs best one counts. My mini shred part was ok and I was pleased with it.  It was the first time rail riding this season. On the kickers I did a swbs5 to bs5 and a fs5 to sw double backflip.  In the end I got 7th place. All in all it was a nice competition and I had a good time with my Friends Gregor and Goffi. At the moment the park is in a good shape and with some fresh snow it will be pretty nice.
