Kurz Interview mit Kosakov Veranstalter Zoltan

Willkommen IGSA in Europa. Die Kosakov Challenge läutet das erste Rennen auf europäischen Boden ein und was Kosakov wirklich ausmacht erzählt Veranstalter Jan Profous, aka Zoltan.

Zoltan, what is Kosakov all about?

People, race, party. That is the basis of every race I have been. We are very very very lucky, that people comes to Kozakov who are very tolerant, open minded and ready to have fun! I Hope that for the third time, Kosakov will be one huge party divided just into racing and having a fun.

It seems that Kosakov stands more for Party than riding?

Its not only the party. Its a hell on wheels. Take on your leathers and race down a road, where the top speed is around 95 Km/h. Drive a road, where the top will kick you into the brain!

What are the sketchy parts oft he track?

First hard turns you have to handle. There is the point, where most of the riders crash. If you are too slow, you will be slow in whole middle part. Have you handled without crash? Ok, here comes the last part, long, nearly narow road. Id depends just on you, how fast can you be on the road, or how you want to be as your nerves will let you. and than there is just a strawbarry on the desert, just one nice 90 to the right. I would not ever say, how many riders will crash in so easy corner. I would not say that until I have ride there in nearly 90 km/h.

What Czechs specialities have you prepared for your guest from all over the World?

Think that, party, where beer cost 1 EUR is very affordable for everybody and this year, we want to let the riders taste best homemade liquers over our country (homemade Abstinth, homemade liquers from the fruits) so people discover, what we, Czechs, drink. There will be a small kitchen as last year, people can taste our national food especial the traditional fish&chips.

Back to the race; Zoltan, what is the most important to handle at the Kosakove Challenge?

I think that whole road is a challenge with nerves. It just depends on how you let yourself to ride fast how you will forget to be a human and become a rocket :) And here it comes. Evening, everybody are tired from the freerides, lets take one beer and lets go sleep. Hm... Maybe second one? (Svijany 11 degrees beer is very tastefull) Maybe third one? And here it comes once more, PAAARRRTTTTYYYY! Kozaaakooovvv! :) You can mention, what happends next morning :) Here we come again :)
