JULY 18-22 IGSA Thun Alpspeed World Cup
We arrive in Thun. The first thing was checking the road, 1.5km without hairpins pretty easy road totaly different from Almabtrieb.
Wednesday 18 July:
First day free ride, the road was easy top speed 45.2 MPH, no foot break. We had many runs in the morning also in the afternoon, the free ride was cool but after a lot of rain in the camping we had wet ground. We had great dinner in the night.
Thursday 19 July:
Second day we had many runs again and everyone tried to get the best line in the forest turn, this turn was bad surface. After the cool dinner we got a great massage.
Friday 20 July:
The qualify day was a little bit confusing, we had one warm up then start the qualify time but nobody (riders) knew where finish line was, then a lot of riders standup before the finish line.
The second run of the qualify was much better. The best time in the standup was Shrek French guy. In the night we had a great massage again.
Saturday 21 July:
At the race day we decided to move up the finish line for safe race. We had one warm up where 10 riders crashed in the forest turn because of the wet ground. Then the organizers decided alone to move the start line for this corner, we had 2 hours of hell, every rider got in angry big stress, the organizers wanted to cancel the race for doing a free ride - another half hour bla bla bla, then they started the race with dry course. The last day we also had great massage.
