Burton US Open 2011 (7.-13. März)
Die 29.te Auflage der Burton US Open @ Stratton Mountain, Vermont steht auf dem Programm. Vom 7. bis 13. März 2011 geht es hier für die Top 3 um die Aufteilung der $ 200.000 USD Preisgeld und weitere wichtige TTR Punkte.
In den Semifinals und in den Finals von Halfpipe und Slopestyle wird das 'SLS' (Snowboard Live Scoring System) am Start sein, um euch im Webcast vor den Bildschirmen und eventuell vor Ort direkt über den Stand der Runs zu informieren. In jedem Final werden stets 6 Frauen und 10 Männer an den Start gehen, um sich beim Final Stop der Burton Global Open Series (BGOS) in eine vernünftige Position im Ranking zu bringen. Immerhin werden an die Top 3 der Frauen & Männer die insgesamt $ 200.000 USD Preisgeld verteilt und die letzten Punkte für's TTR-Ranking rausgehauen. Auch hier geht es um eine Menge Kohle, die die Top 5 des TTR-Rankings unter sich aufteilen dürfen. Für Spannung sollte also in Vermont gesorgt sein.Vom 9.-12. März könnt ihr per Live-Webcast (stellen wir euch natürlich noch bereit) mitten drin sein!
